Terms of Service
Last updated: March 28, 2026
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Croodle. By creating an account or using any part of the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Croodle.
1. About Croodle
Croodle ("we", "us", or "our") is a free online scheduling platform available at croodle.vijaychouhan.in. Croodle allows registered users ("Hosts") to create personalised booking pages, define their availability, and share scheduling links so that other people ("Guests") can book meetings with them — without any back-and-forth email exchanges.
Croodle is provided free of charge. Instead of charging fees, we encourage users who find value in the platform to consider making a donation to Abhilasha Foundation, a registered NGO supporting underprivileged children, women, and the elderly across India.
2. Accounts & Registration
To access the full features of Croodle, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and a password, or by authenticating through a supported OAuth provider (currently Google). You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login credentials confidential.
- All activity that occurs under your account.
- Ensuring the information you provide is accurate and up to date.
- Notifying us immediately at vijay.chouhan490@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
You may not share your account with others or create accounts for the purpose of abusing or circumventing these Terms.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Croodle only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm any person.
- Post or share content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or fraudulent.
- Impersonate another person, business, or entity.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, its servers, or any connected systems.
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from Croodle without prior written permission.
- Use Croodle to send spam, unsolicited communications, or conduct phishing campaigns.
- Upload or transmit viruses, malicious code, or any other harmful software.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section without prior notice.
4. Scheduling & Bookings
Croodle enables Hosts to create Event Types (e.g., "30-minute Video Call") with custom durations, descriptions, and availability windows. Hosts share a personalised booking link (croodle.vijaychouhan.in/username/event-slug) that Guests can use to select a time slot and book a meeting.
Hosts acknowledge that:
- It is their responsibility to keep availability settings accurate. Croodle is not liable for double-bookings resulting from incorrect availability configuration.
- When a booking is made, the Guest's name, email, and any notes they provide are shared with the Host so the meeting can take place.
- Hosts are responsible for conducting any meetings booked through Croodle in a lawful and professional manner.
Guests acknowledge that:
- Their booking details (name, email, selected time) are shared with the Host.
- Croodle is a scheduling tool only. We are not a party to any meeting or transaction arranged through the platform.
5. Google Calendar Integration
Hosts may optionally connect their Google Calendar account to Croodle. By doing so, you authorise Croodle to:
- Read your Google Calendar busy/free information to automatically exclude blocked time from your available slots.
- Write new calendar events when a booking is confirmed, and remove them when a booking is cancelled or rescheduled.
Croodle's use of Google user data is subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We access only the minimum Google Calendar scopes necessary to provide the integration. You may disconnect Google Calendar at any time from your dashboard Settings.
6. Custom Branding
Hosts may customise their public booking pages with a brand name, logo, brand colour, and footer text. By uploading or linking a logo or image, you represent that you own or have the right to use that content, and that it does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights. We reserve the right to remove branding content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
7. Email Notifications
Croodle sends transactional emails related to the use of the Service, including:
- Booking confirmation emails to both Hosts and Guests.
- Cancellation and rescheduling notifications.
- Account verification and password-reset emails.
These emails are service-essential and cannot be opted out of while you maintain an active account. We do not currently send marketing or promotional emails.
8. Third-Party Services
Croodle integrates with third-party services (such as Google OAuth and Google Calendar) whose use is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of any third-party service. Links to external websites from our platform are provided for convenience and do not constitute endorsement.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and trademarks belonging to Croodle are the exclusive property of Croodle and its creators. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on our intellectual property without prior written consent.
You retain ownership of all content you create or upload to Croodle (such as event descriptions, branding assets, and profile information). By submitting content to the platform, you grant Croodle a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Croodle is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Croodle and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, lost bookings, or loss of business, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Because Croodle is a free service, our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed INR 0 (zero) or the minimum amount permitted by applicable law.
12. Termination
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at vijay.chouhan490@gmail.com. Upon deletion, your profile, event types, and associated data will be permanently removed.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately and without prior notice if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms or that your use poses a risk to other users or the platform.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
